Tuan Tran: Push Ups Burnout Set
In the video below personal trainer and bodybuilder Tuan Tran performs some burnout sets on push ups to finish off his chest workout on that day. Tuan explains: "A press-up (British English) or push up (American English) is a common strength training exercise performed in a prone position, lying horizontal and face down, raising and lowering the body using the arms. Press-ups develop the pectoral muscles and triceps, with ancillary benefits to the deltoids, serratus anterior, coracobrachialis and the midsection as a whole. Press-ups are a basic exercise used in civilian athletic training or physical education and commonly in military physical training. Here I am performing them to failure so I can build up my strength endurance."Wednesday, October 21, 2009
